Tech Ops Specialist

Overview

As a Tech Ops Specialist on the Managed Services team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and support of the OneTick platform, working closely with clients to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of their data management and analytics solutions. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, a high level of responsibility, and customer service excellence.

What you will do

• Monitor the health and performance of the OneTick platform in cloud environments or client data centers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data delivery and server applications using runbooks.
• Enhance and improve the monitoring of OneTick and related processes.
• Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with clients and vendors to inform them about critical issues and resolutions.
• Work with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, and assist in deploying new features.

Requirements

• High Sense of Responsibility: Demonstrates strong accountability and reliability.
• Night Shift Availability: Ability to work night shifts as required.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Linux bash commands and scripting.
• Basic scripting skills in Python.
• Proven experience in a technical operations or support role.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Nagios, Prometheus).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of financial markets and trading systems.
