TL;DR

Senior Technical Program Manager (Robotics): Planning and delivering next-generation hirify.global robot programs with an accent on hardware new product introduction, cross-functional integration, and predictable execution. Focus on coordinating hardware, firmware, software, AI/ML, manufacturing, and supply chain workstreams while resolving risks and blockers across Vancouver, Boston, and London.

Location: On-site in Vancouver, Canada; early working hours may be required to collaborate with teams in London and Boston.

hirify.global develops commercially scalable and safe hirify.global robots, including the HMND-01 Alpha platform currently used in industrial pilots.

What you will do

  • Plan and execute complex hirify.global robot new product introduction programs, owning scope, schedule, cost, and process.
  • Coordinate hardware and software development across systems, safety, mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, AI/ML, integration, testing, and other functions.
  • Track progress across multiple teams and sites to ensure predictable delivery.
  • Identify risks and blockers, establish mitigation plans, and drive resolution.
  • Align stakeholders, secure commitments, and tailor program communication across cultures, distances, and time zones.
  • Continuously improve program management practices and provide technical guidance in ambiguous situations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant post-graduate experience managing hardware new product introduction programs.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field related to robotics or engineering.
  • Experience leading complex systems that integrate hardware, firmware, and software.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and hardware development processes for scalable manufacturing.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex workstreams, lead through influence, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Willingness to work early hours when needed for collaboration with London and Boston.

Nice to have

  • Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or advanced hardware companies.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Familiarity with robotics development lifecycles and integration challenges.
  • Experience with globally distributed teams, manufacturing, supply chain, or production ramp environments.
