Senior AQA (Python+Playwright)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the world or office-based in Tbilisi; relocation support to Tbilisi is available.

What you will do

• Design, write, and maintain automated UI, integration, and end-to-end tests for web applications using Python, pytest, and Playwright.
• Develop and evolve a maintainable, scalable Python test automation framework.
• Automate regression, smoke, and nightly test suites to reduce manual testing and accelerate releases.
• Integrate and optimize test automation in CI/CD pipelines, monitor test runs, analyze failures, and improve test stability.
• Collaborate with developers, manual QA, and infrastructure teams through the release cycle.
• Use model-based testing and AI assistant tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to improve coverage and productivity while maintaining code quality.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python automation using pytest and Playwright.
• Deep expertise in web application testing, including UI, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience designing and evolving test automation frameworks with clear architecture.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured automation code.
• Strong test analysis and test design skills.
• Proficiency with AI assistant tools and an understanding of their strengths and limitations in test automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Allure TestOps, mobile automation, API testing, or Linux shell tools.
• Experience testing exchange cores, trading systems, or high-load financial platforms.
• Personal experience with trading or crypto exchanges.
