What you will do
- Design and implement an AI-first operational resilience framework, automating evidence gathering, data mapping, monitoring, and reporting.
- Own the register of important business services, including classifications, impact tolerances, and supporting resource mappings.
- Build and maintain end-to-end mappings across people, processes, technology, facilities, data, and third parties.
- Design and run severe-but-plausible scenario testing, using AI to accelerate analysis and remediation planning.
- Coordinate annual self-assessments, board and regulatory submissions, and management reporting through automated dashboards.
- Lead post-incident reviews and remediation tracking while partnering with technology, information security, payment operations, compliance, and third-party risk teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in operational resilience, business continuity, or operational risk within regulated financial services.
- Working knowledge of FCA PS21/3, PRA SS1/21, DORA, and the Bank of England’s operational resilience framework.
- Hands-on experience with important business services, impact tolerances, mapping, and scenario testing.
- Active use of AI tooling and experience specifying, building, or configuring data pipelines and dashboards.
- Pragmatic, risk-based approach with a bias toward shipping lightweight solutions and iterating quickly.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, organisation, and independent working skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with ICT and cyber resilience or DORA-aligned testing programmes.
- Experience with critical outsourcing arrangements, exit planning, and stressed-exit planning.
