What you will do

• Analyze product and technical requirements, identifying edge cases, risks, and test coverage needs.
• Design and implement automated tests for backend services and APIs using Python.
• Perform manual, exploratory, and debugging-focused testing when required.
• Maintain and improve the existing Python automation framework.
• Review automated tests and provide feedback to QA engineers.
• Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, and QA colleagues to improve testing approaches and tooling.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of overall software testing experience.
• At least 2 years of solid Python automation experience.
• Strong skills in test analysis, test design, backend automation, and API testing.
• Experience architecting, designing, and evolving test automation frameworks.
• Confidence working in the Linux shell, including basic scripting, log analysis, and service management.
• Experience working in a cross-functional product team; fintech knowledge is highly important.

Nice to have

• Experience testing exchange cores, trading systems, high-load financial platforms, or personal trading experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps or TestOps practices.
• Experience with performance, reliability, or stability testing.
• Ability to read Go code and basic SQL skills for query checks and migration reviews.
