TL;DR
Product Backend AQA (Python) (Backend Testing): Designing and maintaining automated tests for backend services and APIs with an accent on Python automation, test analysis, and fintech systems. Focus on identifying edge cases, evolving automation frameworks, and validating high-load trading and digital asset infrastructure.
Location: Remote from anywhere in the world, or onsite in Tbilisi. Relocation support to Tbilisi is available.

What you will do
- Analyze product and technical requirements, identifying edge cases and potential risks.
- Design and implement automated tests for backend services and APIs using Python.
- Perform manual, exploratory, and debugging-focused testing when needed.
- Maintain and improve the existing Python-based automation framework.
- Review automated tests and provide feedback to QA engineers.
- Collaborate with backend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to improve testing approaches and tooling.
Requirements
- Middle or Senior level with over 5 years of overall testing experience.
- At least 2 years of solid Python automation experience and strong backend testing skills.
- Strong knowledge of test analysis, test design, and API testing principles and tools.
- Confidence working in the Linux shell, including basic scripting, log analysis, and service management.
- Experience architecting, designing, and evolving test automation frameworks.
- Strong interest in or knowledge of fintech; experience with trading systems, exchanges, or crypto wallets is advantageous.
Nice to have
- Experience testing exchange cores, trading systems, high-load financial platforms, or non-functional properties such as performance, reliability, and stability.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps or TestOps practices.
- Ability to read Go code and basic SQL knowledge for query checks and migration reviews.
