What you will do

• Design and deliver end-to-end blockchain and digital asset solutions for banking, custody, payments, and treasury management.
• Define API architectures, data flows, event-driven systems, integration patterns, deployment models, and security protocols.
• Evaluate blockchain platforms, protocols, and tools according to client requirements and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with delivery, engineering, product, DevOps, and client teams to ensure architectures are buildable, testable, and operable.
• Create architecture diagrams, system specifications, integration guides, and other technical documentation.
• Identify architectural risks and performance bottlenecks while mentoring junior architects and developers.

Requirements

• 3–10 years of experience in solution architecture, platform engineering, enterprise system implementation, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of blockchain, distributed systems, cryptographic principles, security protocols, encryption, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience designing multi-system platforms for regulated financial services environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Deep expertise in API-based architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Required languages: Swiss German, German, and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Hyperledger, smart contracts, DApps, digital asset custody, tokenization, or crypto payments.
• Knowledge of DeFi, stablecoins, Layer-2 scaling, and digital asset regulations including MiCA and AML/KYC.
• Programming experience with Python, Go, Rust, Java, or Solidity.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Blockchain certifications or interest in progressing toward Principal Architect or technical leadership roles.
