Security Risk Officer (Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

• Manage and assess technology risks within banking and financial services operations.
• Evaluate technology infrastructure and security principles against relevant risk methodologies.
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for technology risk management.
• Analyze risk information using Power BI and Excel.
• Communicate findings and recommendations with stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of professional experience in technology risk management within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, security principles, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to technology risk management.
• Experience with Power BI and Excel.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Splunk.
• Knowledge of COBIT and ITIL frameworks.
• Certifications such as ISO 27001, ISO 27005, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
