What you will do

• Prepare and develop comprehensive Game Design Documents.
• Design and analyze balanced mathematical models, systems, mechanics, rules, and content.
• Conduct playtests, collect feedback, analyze user metrics, and improve gameplay balance.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, audio, art, QA, and product teams to align and implement designs.
• Monitor competitor products, industry trends, and emerging game mechanics.
• Maintain clear documentation and contribute to innovative game concepts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in game design or a related field; internships and personal projects are considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Understanding of game mechanics and mathematical models.
• Excellent documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and version control systems.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, plus a basic understanding of game audio design.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cocos Creator or Unity.
• Experience with agile production methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
• Written and verbal communication skills in Chinese Mandarin.
• Experience incorporating AI tools into workflows.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to push design boundaries.
