What you will do

• Transform a successful prototype into a stable, production-ready system scalable for full-scale development.
• Guide the engineering team through the shift from experimentation to pre-production, balancing iteration with code health.
• Set the standard for Unreal Engine development, overseeing core systems, performance optimization, and multiplayer stability.
• Own the technical roadmap, aligning engineering milestones with creative goals and timelines.
• Lead and mentor a dedicated team of engineers to foster technical excellence and collaboration.
• Partner with Art, Design, and Production Directors to ensure technical feasibility of creative pillars.

Requirements

• Proven track record of taking projects through the full lifecycle from early concept to successful global launch.
• Extensive experience in Unreal Engine development, specifically structuring large-scale projects for performance.
• Must have shipped at least one major title in Unreal Engine; multiplayer experience is highly sought.
• Strong communication skills to mentor senior engineers and explain technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
• Broad technical skills across the game stack with the ability to solve complex architectural challenges.
