What you will do

• Set up, start, operate, and perform changeovers on designated legacy filling and packaging lines according to approved SOPs.
• Package commercial pharmaceutical products in line with manufacturing instructions, specifications, and GMP requirements.
• Complete batch documentation, line cleaning, batch clearance, reconciliation, and production records accurately.
• Monitor equipment performance, conduct in-process quality checks, and escalate abnormalities to minimise downtime.
• Support 5S, GEMBA, continuous improvement, and effective shift handovers with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Maintain current training and follow all health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures within the legacy-line scope.

Requirements

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
• Experience in a production or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrable understanding of GMP principles and compliance requirements.
• Packaging machinery certification obtained through OEM in-house training.
• Practical and mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to complete production documentation accurately.
• Ability to follow instructions, calibrate associated equipment, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively on a night shift.

Nice to have

• Recognised packaging qualification such as an NVQ.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience operating modern, high-speed packaging equipment.
• Five GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.
