TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Maintaining and improving reliable, highly available production infrastructure with an accent on AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and observability. Focus on automating operations with Terraform and Ansible, troubleshooting complex incidents, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and improving CI/CD and production reliability.
Location: Remote in Ukraine

What you will do
- Maintain and improve the reliability, availability, performance, security, and cost efficiency of production infrastructure.
- Monitor AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and production systems to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, implement preventive solutions, and participate in on-call rotations.
- Automate operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting.
- Manage AWS services, ECS Fargate, EKS clusters, containerized applications, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Improve observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and collaboration with development teams on application reliability and scalability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Ansible, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS Fargate, Linux, and Docker.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting complex production incidents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- English: Intermediate+ or higher.
Nice to have
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault, ArgoCD, FluxCD, or GitOps workflows.
- Experience administering PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or Kafka.
- Knowledge of SRE principles, security best practices, and compliance standards.
- Experience with high-load production environments, GCP, or Hetzner.
- AWS or Kubernetes certifications.
