Site Reliability Engineer (Cloud)

Location: Must be based in Sofia, Bulgaria (Hybrid role).

What you will do

• Monitor production environment availability and system health to proactively identify bottlenecks.
• Lead coordinated incident response and perform blameless post-incident reviews.
• Automate manual operational tasks to create sustainable, maintainable solutions.
• Partner with development and architecture teams to improve service reliability and release procedures.
• Maintain complex systems, including edge cases, failure modes, and specific implementations.
• Collaborate with regional and global SRE teams to ensure consistent service delivery.

Requirements

• English: C1 level required for global collaboration.
• 1+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering role.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and high availability principles.
• Experience supporting complex, highly scaled production systems.
• Proficiency in Linux, networking, and cloud-native application design.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Sofia.

Nice to have

• Experience with tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Thousand Eyes, ServiceNow, Jira, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Java, Cassandra, Redis, Apigee, Okta, and Postgres.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.
