Senior Analytics Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid in Welwyn Garden City, United Kingdom; 60% of the week is spent at office locations or local sites and the remainder remotely.

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of trusted, documented, tested cybersecurity data products.
• Build data transformation pipelines, automated data quality frameworks, and scalable raw, trusted, and curated data layers.
• Design and manage logical and physical data models for threat detection, analysis, reporting, and self-service analytics.
• Automate deployment, testing, monitoring, and management of pipelines, models, and data quality controls.
• Enable analytics agents, conversational analytics, dashboards, and visualisations for security and business users.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, and data teams while coaching junior team members and supporting talent development.

Requirements

• Strong experience with big data, data modelling, data quality, ETL, and ELT frameworks.
• Programming experience with Python and PySpark, with strong SQL proficiency.
• Experience with Airflow, dbt, Databricks on Azure, automated data quality frameworks, Git, and CI/CD.
• Experience creating dashboards and visualisations with BI tools such as Tableau.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, responsible AI, governance, security controls, and human oversight.
• Ability to provide guidance and coaching to junior team members.
