CFD Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain CFD solver capabilities for GPU platforms.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues reported by customers and internal teams.
• Develop AI-ready products and services, including structured APIs and tool interfaces for safe AI interaction with simulation products.
• Build software components that expose simulation functionality to AI agents and intelligent workflows.
• Participate in architecture discussions and long-term platform evolution.
• Develop automated testing, validation, and CI/CD workflows while producing maintainable documentation.

Requirements

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computational Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Strong software development skills in C++ and Python.
• Knowledge of at least one GPU computing technology, such as CUDA, OpenCL, OpenACC, or OpenMP offloading.
• Experience with Message Passing Interface and knowledge of CFD, HPC, or AI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively in English.

Nice to have

• Experience developing simulation software, solvers, or numerical algorithms.
• Knowledge of the finite volume method.
• Experience with REST API design, agent frameworks, tool calling, structured AI workflows, LLM applications, or workflow automation.
