TL;DR
Lead Game Designer (AAA/GaaS): Driving the overall game design vision and leading a team of designers to create high-quality gameplay systems for AAA titles with an accent on GaaS environments and data-informed iteration. Focus on designing scalable gameplay mechanics, player progression, and optimizing production pipelines using the Anvil Engine.
Location: Office-based in Da Nang, Vietnam or Annecy, France

What you will do
- Define and drive the overall game design vision in collaboration with the Game Director, Creative Director, and Production.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of designers to ensure high-quality output and professional growth.
- Own and manage the design process, including planning, prioritization, and delivery of features and systems.
- Design and oversee gameplay systems, mechanics, and player progression to ensure coherence across the game.
- Drive a data-informed, KPI-oriented design approach for live (GaaS) environments using player metrics and analytics.
- Align design direction across programming, art, animation, and UX disciplines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in game design with at least one shipped AAA or AA title.
- Proven experience in a leadership role as a Lead or Associate Lead Designer.
- Strong expertise in game systems design, balancing, and player progression.
- Proficiency with the Anvil Engine and its toolset.
- Experience with visual scripting and data-driven design approaches.
- Must be based in or able to work from the offices in Da Nang, Vietnam or Annecy, France

- Experience contributing to multiple projects or different phases of production.
- Familiarity with large-scale game systems and content pipelines.
- Experience improving team workflows, tools, or production efficiency.
