What you will do
- Support and maintain finance-related systems, automated processes, and operational workflows in a production environment.
- Develop, execute, troubleshoot, and maintain VBScript automations based on business and technical requirements.
- Investigate application, script, and data issues, performing root cause analysis to implement permanent corrective actions.
- Collaborate with finance users and technical teams to clarify requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and change activities under established ITSM processes.
- Maintain detailed documentation for scripts, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance Systems, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on expertise with VBScript, including syntax, control structures, functions, and error handling.
- Relevant experience in application support, scripting, or finance systems support.
- Working knowledge of ITSM processes (incident, problem, and change management).
- Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Fluent Spanish (written and spoken).
Nice to have
- Knowledge of VBA, Excel automation, SQL queries, or relational database concepts.
- Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platforms.
- Familiarity with file-based interfaces, scheduled jobs, or batch processing.
- Experience working in Agile or global delivery environments.
