Location: Hybrid (Tokyo, Japan). Must be based in Japan and work from the office at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Create high-quality 3D animations for marketing campaigns, product showcases, and social media content.
• Translate storyboards and creative concepts into polished 3D animated content.
• Manage the full 3D production pipeline, including modeling, rigging, lighting, rendering, and compositing.
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, and Product teams to develop compelling visual narratives.
• Mentor junior artists and help define animation standards across the organization.
• Explore AI-assisted creative technologies and real-time rendering techniques to elevate visual standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in 3D animation, CGI production, or motion graphics.
• Expert proficiency in Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or equivalent 3D software.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, weight, and storytelling.
• Must be based in Japan and available for hybrid work in Tokyo.
• Strong English communication skills as it is the primary working language.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal Engine, Houdini, or real-time rendering workflows.
• Knowledge of character rigging, simulations, and dynamics.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted creative tools into workflows.
• Background in fintech, digital products, or startup environments.
