Cybersecurity Advisor (Identity): Designing scalable and defensible identity and access management (IAM) security programs for clients with an accent on combining sales expertise with broad security practitioner knowledge. Focus on requirements gathering, technology selection, and developing strategic security roadmaps.

Location: Remote, must be based near Minneapolis (MN), IL, or WISC (preferably near Chicago)

Salary: $170,000 – $230,000+ Annually

What you will do

• Design pragmatic, scalable security programs within the Identity domain tailored to unique client environments.
• Partner with account teams to identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities and meet quarterly/annual quota objectives.
• Perform requirements gathering analysis, technology selection criteria, and coordinate security technology evaluations.
• Develop security strategies and execution roadmaps aligned with business goals and return on investment (ROI).
• Maintain advisory relationships with leadership stakeholders through thought leadership and professional guidance.
• Collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure consistent approach and high client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an information security role focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Expertise with tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Beyond Trust, or CyberArk.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent applicable work experience.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% or as needed.
• Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills for leadership-level discussions.
• Thorough understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications: CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, or GIAC.
• Vendor-specific certifications focused on the identity specialty.
• Experience speaking and evangelizing technology vision at industry events.
