What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL and data processing pipelines.
• Lead the migration of legacy SQL Server environments to modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for data transformation and performance improvement.
• Build, schedule, and maintain data workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Create and optimize data models, including schema design and partitioning strategies.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver business-critical data solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Advanced expertise in SQL with a focus on query optimization and performance tuning.
• Proven experience designing and developing ETL and data processing solutions.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and debug complex data pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be based in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and/or Hive.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation.
• Experience with Apache Airflow workflows.
• Exposure to Databricks and modern data lakehouse architectures.
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts.
