What you will do

• Define and execute the multi-year enterprise data engineering roadmap aligned with business strategy.
• Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams, establishing operating models and career development frameworks.
• Establish architectural standards for cloud data platforms, metadata management, and data quality.
• Manage data engineering budgets, cloud spend optimization, and vendor relationships.
• Drive modernization initiatives including cloud migration, real-time analytics, and AI/ML enablement.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and product teams to standardize and govern data products.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of proven management experience leading technical teams.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data warehousing using Snowflake.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical field.
• Background in supply chain or distribution industry.
• Certifications: CDMP, AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Professional Data Engineer, or Snowflake SnowPro Core.
• Experience with Databricks, Matillion, DBT, and Airflow.
