US Event Producer (Conferences and Awards): Planning, producing, and delivering The Drum's US-based conferences, awards, forums, round tables, and client events with an accent on logistics, programming, sponsor activations, and on-site execution. Focus on managing complex event programs and budgets, coordinating speakers and suppliers, delivering memorable attendee experiences, and collaborating with the UK events team across markets.
Location: Miami, Florida, United States; hybrid work with on-site event delivery and travel across the US and internationally as required.

What you will do
- Plan and deliver US-based awards, conferences, industry events, and client events end to end.
- Manage event logistics, production, programming, speaker coordination, content schedules, production run sheets, and attendee journeys.
- Run the awards process from entries and judging through nominations and the live show.
- Manage timelines, budgets, venues, suppliers, production partners, and on-site execution.
- Deliver sponsor and client activations in partnership with commercial, marketing, and partnerships teams.
- Collaborate with the UK events team and global colleagues on international activations, reporting, and event improvements.
Requirements
- 3–4+ years of event organisation experience, especially large-scale conferences, awards, and branded client events across in-person and digital formats.
- Proven experience delivering events against commercial and audience goals, with exposure to budgets and on-site management.
- Excellent organisation, multitasking, prioritisation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing or supporting sponsor deliverables, branded activations, venues, suppliers, and production partners.
- Ability to work autonomously with an international team headquartered in the UK and across time zones.
- Fluent spoken and written English; willingness to travel across the US and internationally, and to work evenings and weekends during peak periods.

- Experience with Asana, Slack, and Salesforce; training can be provided.
- Experience supporting junior colleagues and working across marketing, content, video, and design teams.
