What you will do
- Own and prioritize the ODD process for merchant periodic reviews, monitor KPIs, and implement backlog-reduction strategies.
- Lead backlog-reduction initiatives by defining scope and timelines and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Oversee merchant risk, due diligence, AML, and compliance assessments.
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Manage stakeholders, provide senior management updates, and align departmental priorities.
- Build reports and dashboards, use data insights for process optimization, support audits, and maintain regulatory documentation.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in payments, risk, compliance, or operations, including operational backlog management or transformation projects.
- Knowledge of merchant risk, AML/KYC, and fraud prevention.
- Experience or familiarity with merchant onboarding or due diligence.
- Proficiency with Jira or Asana and data analysis using Excel, SQL, or BI dashboards.
- Familiarity with payment platforms and risk systems.
