TL;DR
Associate HR Business Partner (Media): Supporting the UK and EMEA Channels & Streaming and Commercial News divisions by driving people initiatives and managing the full employee lifecycle. Focus on partnering across a complex, matrixed environment to deliver proactive HR solutions and strategic operational support.
Location: Must be based in or able to work from London (Hybrid)
Salary: £55,000–£60,000 plus £5,441 London Weighting

What you will do
- Act as an internal HR consultant for managers and stakeholders across EMEA.
- Bridge local needs with company-wide HR initiatives to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate on annual processes including pay, bonus, and performance reviews.
- Lead and manage employee relations cases within a matrixed structure.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and payroll inputs.
- Utilize data and insights to improve people strategies and represent HR across the business.
Requirements
- Proven track record in complex or matrixed reporting structures.
- Experience delivering strategic HR partnering in a comparable role.
- Proven experience in an HR role across EMEA with knowledge of multi-country employment practices.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and persuading skills.
- Analytical ability to resolve logistically complex problems and identify trends.
- Ability to act as a role model for company values.
Nice to have
- Experience across HR Operations, including payroll.
- Prior experience working with people systems such as SAP.
