What you will do

• Ensure technical and solution designs comply with security controls and work with platform teams to remediate gaps.
• Provide security advice and guidance for change and BAU initiatives, identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Represent enterprise security at technical design authorities to ensure solutions meet best practices.
• Collaborate with security engineers to integrate enterprise security architecture into change initiatives.
• Research emerging security technologies and translate complex technical issues for non-specialist stakeholders.
• Develop risk management strategies and assist in updating security policies, standards, and procedures.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Information/Cyber Security, with at least 4 years as an experienced Security Consultant.
• Essential understanding of Azure security; knowledge of M365 and Microsoft Power Platform is an advantage.
• Deep knowledge of securing applications, infrastructure, and networks (including Firewalls, WAF, SOC, SIEM, and IDAM).
• Experience with governance frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISF Standards of Good Practice, or CIS 7.1.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and a recognized qualification such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSK.
• Must be based in or able to work from Stirling, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or Adobe Experience Manager.
• Understanding of regulations and legislation applicable to pension and investment organisations.
