What you will do

• Support development of FSC/PEFC COC certification and timber due diligence services for affiliates in Western Europe and the Americas.
• Ensure proper communication with the Global Forestry Team and support revision of COC procedures and related documents.
• Provide timely technical support to assigned hirify.global affiliates and coordinate technical review of COC reports against accreditation requirements.
• Perform technical internal office audits (L2) and conduct technical reviews of COC reports when required.
• Maintain FSC database, support FSC trademark approval service, and ensure required records are maintained for accreditation.
• Support COC auditor training (initial/update), act as tutor for COC Lead Auditor trainings, and consult affiliates on hiring/training/registration of new auditors.

Requirements

• FSC COC Lead Auditor qualification (must have).
• Work experience in timber and/or paper industries.
• Experience with audits and commercial experience related to product/commercial proposals.
• Verbal and written English communication skills for presentations and effective interaction with senior government officials and senior management.
• Leadership and change-driving ability; analytical, decisive, adaptable, ethical problem-solving skills.
• Forestry Chain of Custody Lead Auditor Trainer background and tertiary education in Forest Management or Timber Engineering (or equivalent training and experience).
