Senior QA Engineer with Automation
Company: a well-established US education-technology company, providing digital learning content and platforms to a large global user base for over two decades.

Location: Remote (not from Russia or Belorus or Ukraine). ‼️Timezone GMT 0 - GMT+2 only. Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan won't move forward due to timezone shift.‼️
Russian or Ukrainian speaking required.

About the role: This is a QA role with a meaningful automation component. You'll test complex integrated web applications (UI + API) for a mature, stable product used by millions of active users. Initially the work is mostly manual QA, evolving toward a ~70/30 manual/automation split mid-term.

What you'll do:
- UI and API testing of complex integrated web applications
- Develop and refine test plans
- Write and maintain automated tests (primarily Cypress; Playwright/Selenium experience also relevant)
- Work within Agile process alongside developers
- Use JIRA/TestRail/Qmetry for test management

Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on Manual QA experience, senior level
- Some hands-on QA automation experience (UI or API test scripts)
- Automation-oriented mindset: comfort with programming concepts and logical problem-solving
- Understanding of HTTP, HTML, AJAX, JSON, REST APIs, client-server architecture
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Solid written and spoken English (interview is conducted in English)

Nice to have:
- Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
- CI/CD understanding
- Agile methodology experience
- JIRA, TestRail, Qmetry
- Basic Linux (Ubuntu CLI) and git knowledge
