PtP Accountant

TL;DR

PtP Accountant (Finance): Managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and payment preparation with an accent on data accuracy and financial compliance. Focus on optimizing accounting workflows, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with internal finance teams and external suppliers.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Prague, Czech Republic (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and purchase order matching.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of invoices to correct GL accounts and cost centers.
• Perform month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve account discrepancies.
• Prepare payments and manage vendor communications.
• Participate in process improvement and optimization projects.

Requirements

• Experience in Accounts Payable or customer service.
• English: B2 level required.
• Understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and basic PC skills.
• Must be based in Prague, Czech Republic.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP.
• German language proficiency.
