Senior Cost Manager (Construction)

What you will do

• Lead cost management across a European lease portfolio, ensuring effective budget control and forecasting.
• Manage and oversee operational and capital expenditure (OPEX/CAPEX) within leased environments.
• Drive the change management process, identifying and implementing cost impacts across lease agreements.
• Provide cost planning, benchmarking, and reporting at a portfolio level to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze supplier and contractor proposals to ensure value for money and commercial compliance.
• Support dispute resolution, including claims and commercial negotiations within lease agreements.

Requirements

• 7–8+ years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying, ideally within consultancy environments.
• Chartered status is required.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a construction-related discipline.
• Strong experience in commercial management, cost planning, and financial control.
• Proficiency in cost reporting, financial analysis, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to work in a remote/hybrid environment, managing priorities across multiple regions.
