Senior Business Analyst (Data Capabilities)

Location: Must be based in the Netherlands (On-site/Hybrid in Utrecht).

Salary: €5,030–€7,183 gross per month.

What you will do

• Translate business and regulatory needs into sustainable data solutions by partnering with compliance, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Drive requirements management from ideation to implementation, ensuring clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead workshops to translate regulatory requirements into actionable data requirements for delivery teams.
• Improve data quality, lineage, and reporting capabilities to support customer onboarding and compliance.
• Facilitate collaboration within agile teams, supporting testing and promoting continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must be located in the Netherlands (relocation is not possible).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, Finance, or Data Management.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
• 5+ years of experience in CDD, KYC, AML, or client lifecycle management domains.
• Proven experience with data-intensive initiatives including data modelling, mapping, and governance.
• Strong understanding of SQL, API-based solutions, and data visualization tools like Power BI.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.
