What you will do
- Collaborate on architectural decisions and development for a high-performance in-browser document editor.
- Build low-latency features that handle complex data models and dynamic content.
- Deliver clean, maintainable, and testable TypeScript/JavaScript code for a B2B SaaS environment.
- Provide technical guidance and code reviews to cross-functional team members.
- Identify and implement improvements to internal development tools, pipelines, and CI/CD workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Deep experience building complex web applications, such as content editors or design tools.
- Strong knowledge of browser internals, rendering performance, and memory management.
- Experience with real-time collaborative features (e.g., OT, CRDTs, WebSockets).
- Must be based in Manila, Philippines.
Nice to have
- Experience with Slate.js, ProseMirror, or other rich-text editor frameworks.
- Exposure to ClojureScript or functional programming paradigms.
- Experience scaling frontend architecture within a startup or scale-up environment.
- Familiarity with legal tech or document automation platforms.
