What you will do

• Design and evaluate aviation engine control systems using gas turbine control laws and functional modeling/simulation.
• Develop software requirements, write engine code, and create block diagrams for control systems.
• Design and validate EEC and FADEC hardware, including actuators, pumps, and sensors.
• Perform control law tuning in time and frequency domains to ensure system stability.
• Lead HIL (Hardware-in-the-loop) simulator design, commissioning, and integration testing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics and materials engineers, to optimize engine control.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 12+ years of experience in engine control systems.
• Strong proficiency with engine control software tools such as Matlab.
• Experience with additive manufacturing technologies and design for additive manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for high-level cross-functional collaboration.
