Location: Must be located in the DC Metro Area as this role requires onsite and remote support.

Salary: $135,000–$155,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead ZTA assessments, gap analyses, and roadmap development for federal clients.
• Design and document ZTA solutions across identity, device, network, application, and data pillars.
• Deploy and configure security controls across Palo Alto, Zscaler, or Microsoft ecosystems.
• Implement IAM controls including MFA, RBAC, and Privileged Access Management.
• Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle and ATO maintenance.
• Collaborate with cloud, networking, and infrastructure teams to ensure cohesive security integration.

Requirements

• Must be located in the DC Metro Area.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, network security, or IT infrastructure.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience designing or implementing Zero Trust Architecture.
• Demonstrated understanding of NIST SP 800-207 and CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model.
• Proficiency in at least one vendor platform: Palo Alto Prisma, Zscaler, or Microsoft Zero Trust.
• Experience supporting federal government or DoD/civilian agency environments.

Nice to have

• Active certifications: PCCSE, PCNSE, ZCCA-IA/PA, or Microsoft SC-100.
• CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
• Familiarity with RMF processes (NIST SP 800-37) and SSP authoring.
• Experience with ServiceNow or Salesforce in a federal context.
