Engineering Lead (AI)

Location: Onsite in San Francisco

Salary: $200K – $400K + Equity

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end technical build for strategic deals, from POC through close and post-close stabilization.
• Drive technical requirements directly with customer engineering and product leaders.
• Tech-lead and mentor a pod of 1–3 software engineers per deal.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks early to ensure deal success.
• Transform bespoke customer requirements into durable, scalable improvements for the core product.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
• Proven background as a strong engineering leader or technical founder.
• Comfort owning high-stakes accounts and navigating significant ambiguity.
• Strong appetite and experience for customer-facing technical work.
• Must be based in San Francisco for in-office work.
