Data Engineer II (Gaming)

What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, and Python.
• Build high-quality datasets to support enterprise analytics, operational reporting, and AI use cases.
• Develop data transformations utilizing Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture best practices.
• Integrate data from various enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and external sources.
• Monitor and optimize production data pipelines for maximum reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to transform business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related technical role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL development and Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Databricks.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, specifically AWS.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS S3, Lambda, or other AWS data services.
• Familiarity with Medallion/Lakehouse architecture.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Databricks Workflows.
• Exposure to AI/ML workflows and data preparation for generative AI.
• Industry experience in gaming, hospitality, or financial services.
