Senior Manager - Pensions Actuarial Consultant

What you will do

• Lead key initiatives delivering UK defined benefit pensions advice to clients.
• Manage client projects and support partners and directors with client delivery.
• Perform actuarial valuations and calculations, advising trustees on running their pension schemes.
• Develop pensions strategies for corporate, public sector, and not-for-profit organisations.
• Deliver communications projects and advise on insurance transactions, scheme consolidation, benefit rectifications, pensions dashboards, and GMP equalisation.
• Build client relationships, develop new business, and delegate responsibilities to junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Significant experience in the UK defined benefit pensions industry or highly relevant transferable experience.
• Qualified pensions actuary, FIA/FFA, Scheme Actuary, or equivalent qualification.
• Strong pensions consulting and technical skills with a commercial and entrepreneurial outlook.
• Excellent project management, client delivery, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in performance management or willingness to delegate to and develop junior colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple demands and contribute to business development.
