What you will do
- Create high-quality 2D art assets for online games, including characters, poses, expressions, environments, backgrounds, matte paintings, and textures.
- Design UI elements, symbols, logos, menus, promotional assets, and motion graphics.
- Produce Spine-based animations for characters, objects, and effects.
- Optimize visual assets for HTML5, online, and mobile game delivery using WebP, TexturePacker, and similar tools.
- Collaborate with artists, share expertise, and help raise the visual quality of the team’s output.
- Deliver polished, consistent artwork aligned with project goals and brand guidelines.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in 2D game art and a strong portfolio.
- Advanced Adobe Photoshop skills and familiarity with Adobe After Effects and Illustrator.
- Strong drawing, sketching, anatomy, perspective, color theory, composition, and visual storytelling skills.
- Experience optimizing assets for online and mobile delivery, including regular use of WebP and high-level knowledge of TexturePacker or similar tools.
- Knowledge of game development pipelines and tools, with the ability to meet production deadlines.
- Strong communication, teamwork, curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Understanding of animation principles and rigging.
- Familiarity with 3D tools and workflows.
- Experience in casino gaming or interactive entertainment.
- Knowledge of Adobe Firefly, Adobe Photoshop AI assistant, or AI-powered art tools such as Layer.ai.
