Business Transformation & Data Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Madrid, Spain; based in the Madrid office at Torre de Cristal

What you will do

• Lead business transformation, process excellence, automation, and scalable ways of working across Southern Europe.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications and support system integration, testing, and implementation.
• Coordinate strategic projects across Operations, IT, Finance, Underwriting, Claims, and European Data teams.
• Partner with Data Engineers and Analysts to prioritise and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Develop KPI frameworks, dashboards, management information, executive presentations, and governance updates.
• Monitor delivery performance, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, third-party contributions, and transition to business as usual.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience with relevant certifications.
• 5–10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Technology, or Transformation functions.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries, including complex international and cross-country initiatives.
• Exposure to data migration, cloud transformation, and enterprise integration projects.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, plus the legal right to live and work in Spain.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Italian or Portuguese.
• Experience with data, SQL, Power BI, Databricks, Excel, and Microsoft 365.
