Lead PHP Developer (PHP): Maintaining and scaling complex web applications and services with an accent on high-impact client support and production stability. Location: Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite (Sofia, Plovdiv, Nis). Must maintain full availability during Eastern Timezone (ET) business hours.

What you will do

• Maintain and optimize scalable PHP/React-based applications and services.
• Serve as the primary technical force for urgent client production incidents during ET business hours.
• Develop and optimize complex PHP services to address client requirements and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate directly with stakeholders to bridge the gap between technical implementation and client needs.
• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions to quickly master complex system details.
• Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.

Requirements

• Solid experience with PHP.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in debugging and test automation.
• English: Strong communication skills required.
