React Developer (Dublin)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; office attendance required 4 days per week

Software engineering services are provided for a leading global reinsurance service provider modernizing core business technology platforms.

What you will do

• Develop scalable and maintainable frontend architecture with React and Next.js.
• Implement and optimize reusable UI components using Fluent UI.
• Collaborate with UX designers to create consistent and user-friendly component designs.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Optimize components for performance and reusability.
• Stay current with frontend technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience, including at least 3 years in a middle or senior role.
• Extensive React experience, including hooks and Context API.
• Strong knowledge of Next.js, server-side rendering, and static site generation.
• Experience with Fluent UI or similar component libraries and scalable component library design.
• Strong frontend performance optimization, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with microfrontend architecture.
• Familiarity with design systems and component-driven development.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build tools.
