Senior HR Business Partner (R&D/Tech): Advising Engineering and R&D leaders on organizational development, workforce planning, talent, performance, and change initiatives with an accent on scaling development organizations and building effective HR partnering standards. Focus on managing complex employee relations cases, translating business goals into people initiatives, and using HR data to prioritize organizational improvements.
Location: On-site in Gilching, Bavaria, Germany; one remote workday per week can be arranged flexibly.

What you will do
- Advise Engineering and R&D leaders on organizational development, workforce planning, talent, performance, and change topics.
- Set clear standards for high-quality, pragmatic HR Business Partnering and execute initiatives effectively.
- Translate business goals into people initiatives in collaboration with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development.
- Manage complex employee relations cases, including conflicts, performance issues, and separations, together with HR Operations and Legal.
- Develop sustainable solutions for scaling R&D teams, structures, roles, and career paths.
- Use HR data, feedback, and tools to support prioritization and informed decision-making.
Requirements
- Several years of HR Business Partner experience, ideally supporting Engineering or R&D teams in a technology environment.
- Experience with scaling development organizations, organizational development, workforce planning, and performance and development processes.
- Proven experience implementing HR initiatives and supporting change in dynamic environments.
- Confident use of HR tools such as Leapsome or similar platforms, with a data-driven approach.
- Structured, execution-oriented working style and the ability to advise and challenge engineering leaders at eye level.
- Fluent German and English are required.
