Lead Python Fullstack Engineer (HRTech)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the enterprise platform, from initial design to operational excellence.
• Design, develop, and deploy new features in collaboration with product and engineering stakeholders.
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, and reliability through query tuning and infrastructure management.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical debt and security vulnerabilities.
• Mentor a part-time contributor by providing technical direction and code reviews.
• Participate in low-frequency on-call rotations to maintain production stability.

Requirements

• Must be based in Poland, Romania, or Brazil
• Strong production experience with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and/or MySQL with strong SQL optimization skills.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with Celery, Redis, and containerized production environments on AWS.
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.

Nice to have

• Experience with Django Channels, ASGI, or WebSocket-based features.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS data-isolation patterns.
• Experience with JWT, OAuth 2.0, or SAML SSO integrations.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
• Experience with TDD and QA automation.
