What you will do

• Design and build agentic AI solutions and ML-powered automation to simplify big data processing workflows.
• Research state-of-the-art ML techniques and create science plans for feature implementation.
• Build and rigorously benchmark science implementations and partner with engineering for production launch.
• Publish scientific work at top-tier venues and evangelize research within the company.
• Mentor applied science interns and peers.

Requirements

• PhD, or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in CS, CE, ML, or a related field.
• 3+ years of research experience applying agentic AI or ML techniques to systems problems in programming languages, databases, or distributed systems.
• Proven track record of publications or patents at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Proficiency in programming with Java, C++, or Python.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in the USA (Santa Clara, CA).

Nice to have

• Experience solving business problems through machine learning, data mining, and statistical algorithms.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as EMR, Spark, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Pig, or Hive.
