What you will do

• Interpret oncology pathology reports to identify optimal specimens to request when initial FFPE blocks or slides are inadequate for testing.
• Ensure accurate entry of clinical history, diagnosis, progress notes, and specimen information into the Sighirify.global sample database.
• Develop strategies to stratify data for retrieval from the Sighirify.global sample database and other required databases.
• Maintain proficiency in organizing diagnostic data according to pertinent WHO guidelines.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Laboratory Director, Genetic Counseling, Customer Experience, Sales, and Clinical Trial teams on pathology reports.
• Support Clinical Trial teams with accurate and organized data transfer and alert the Laboratory Director to suboptimal collection timepoints/fixative conditions.

Requirements

• US Remote work location requirement.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with certification as a Histology Technologist by ASCP (or equivalent board certification).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in anatomic pathology with extensive knowledge of solid tumor pathology.
• Ability to understand and communicate information from anatomic pathology reports across a variety of solid tumors (e.g., lung, colon, breast).
• Ability to identify diagnostic samples that will support successful testing.
• Detail oriented, able to work independently and communicate effectively with team members and referring pathology laboratories.
