What you will do

• Design, refactor, and maintain large Golang codebases using TDD with Ginkgo and Gomega.
• Troubleshoot production applications and resolve performance issues across distributed systems.
• Deploy, scale, and optimize workloads running on Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Design and develop scalable RESTful API services and HTTP-based microservices.
• Implement observability and monitoring using Prometheus and Linux system tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience using Golang.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes internals, Docker, and Linux container technologies.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and monitoring platforms like Prometheus.
• Proven experience practicing Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Availability to work Pacific Hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience reading and understanding Java code or programming in Python.
• Experience working with monorepositories and Bazel as a build system.
• Familiarity with CI tools and automated build pipelines.
