Backend Python Developer

Overview

You'll be joining a small, super-effective team focused on developing the AI magic that powers our language learning platform. The role involves working with Python, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs, along with modern AI models.

What you will do

• Design and build scalable backends and REST APIs.
• Build solutions that use modern LLMs.
• Work with microservice architecture and the AWS serverless stack.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience as a Python Developer (Python 3.8+).
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Celery, and pydantic.
• Strong grasp of modern LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Grok).
• Experience with microservice architecture and the AWS serverless stack.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Experience in startups or small teams.
• Experience with e-commerce or e-learning projects.
• Experience deploying applications on AWS.
• Knowledge of modern software architecture.
• Experience with no/low-code workflow automation.
