What you will do

• Manage the SOX program, including documenting business processes and assessing relevant risks.
• Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness through the execution of appropriate tests.
• Identify and manage deficiencies from detection through to remediation and status reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure new or changing business processes remain SOX compliant.
• Plan and execute independent, risk-based internal audits to evaluate operational efficiency.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations for management.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in public accounting and/or industry audit.
• Degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Must be based in Toronto, ON for a hybrid work arrangement.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, COSO, Auditing Standards, and SOX/Bill198.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple internal departments and geographies.
