TL;DR
Data Centre & ICT Infrastructure Specialist (ICT): Designing and managing Data Centre, ICT, and telecommunications infrastructure for a life science campus with an accent on alignment between research requirements and facility development. Focus on overseeing the implementation of HPC facilities, coordinating procurement for new building infrastructure, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Location: Based in Milan, Italy. Relocation support available.

What you will do
- Translate ICT strategies and research requirements into campus infrastructure solutions.
- Develop and implement multi-year ICT/TLC infrastructure plans integrated with campus development.
- Manage procurement requests for works, supplies, and services for new or revamped infrastructures.
- Oversee implementation and conduct site inspections to ensure technical and regulatory compliance.
- Define BMS architecture, including system topology and server deployment, in collaboration with the ICT department.
- Maintain technical documentation and develop SOPs for infrastructure maintenance.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree in Telecommunications, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in complex ICT/TLC infrastructure or Data Centres.
- Knowledge of ICT frameworks, networking, and security standards.
- Fluency in Italian (written and spoken).
- Proficient English communication skills.
- Must be based in or able to relocate to Milan, Italy.
