What you will do
- Create high-quality assets including characters, creatures, environments, vehicles, and props.
- Ensure all models meet creative and technical briefs for high-end VFX projects.
- Work with and match assets to on-set material such as photogrammetry and Lidar data.
- Collaborate closely with Rigging and Look Development departments to ensure seamless hand-offs.
- Maintain clean topology and high standards of realism and material accuracy.
Requirements
- Experience in high-end feature film or episodic VFX pipelines.
- Strong understanding of asset functionality, including anatomical and engineered structures.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools: Maya, ZBrush, Houdini, Blender, Substance Painter/Designer, and Mari.
- Solid knowledge of topology, texture, and utility maps.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict production deadlines.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with USD-based workflows.
- Experience with asset optimization for large-scale scenes.
- Basic understanding of look development and lighting.
- Strong portfolio showcasing wireframes and breakdown images.
