What you will do

• Lead and execute monthly and annual financial close processes, including accruals and analytical reviews.
• Manage complex balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations across group entities.
• Prepare standalone financial statements and monthly reporting packages for the global headquarters.
• Coordinate tax compliance activities including VAT, ICA, and exogenous information reporting.
• Draft technical accounting memos on revenue recognition and US GAAP/IFRS differences.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with an active CPA license required.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and Colombian tax regulations.
• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency (B2+) required.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel.
• Proven experience leading financial close processes and managing audit requests.

Nice to have

• Experience in the financial services industry or Big Four accounting firms.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Power Query or Power BI.
• Postgraduate specialization in IFRS, Tax, or Finance.
