Software Test Engineer (JavaCard)

Location: Must be based in Gratkorn, Austria (Hybrid role).

Salary: Minimum €2,800 gross/month (full-time equivalent).

What you will do

• Develop and execute tests for JavaCard applets.
• Manage laboratory environments and automate testing processes.
• Design and implement new test tools.
• Report test results and collaborate with the Applets team.
• Take on increasing responsibilities based on performance and dedication.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student in Computer Engineering, Informatics, Security, Telematics, or Mathematics.
• Availability of at least 16 hours/week for a duration of at least 6 months.
• Proficiency in Java and/or scripting languages.
• Solid English skills (conversation and writing).
• Ability to work independently and reliably on security-related tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation tools such as Jenkins.
